AP 10th result 2026: The education department has spent crores of rupees to use tabs this year in the name of automation for recording marks in the tenth grade evaluation. For this, internet facilities have been provided with Rs. 50 lakh. However, the tabs are showing dots to the teachers in the tenth grade spot valuation. The tenth spot valuation process, which started on Monday afternoon, went on till 10 pm due to the tabs barking. There was a serious delay in recording marks due to technical reasons such as technical glitches, network malfunction, server down, and tabs not working smoothly.
As a result, each teacher evaluated only 20 answer sheets on Monday. Later, when they tried to scan them and enter them in the tab, technical problems arose. The teachers, who struggled until 10 pm on Monday, completed the process of registering the remaining marks by Tuesday afternoon. Each teacher participating in the duties has to evaluate at least 40 answer sheets. Each answer sheet must be scanned and the marks must be entered. After the assistant examiners evaluate the papers, the marks should be entered only by special assistants specially assigned for the tab process.
Even if another special assistant tries to do this, the software does not allow it. Teachers are scratching their heads as the tabs and internet available at the valuation centers are not working. With this, the evaluation that started at 9 am should be completed by 4 pm. But due to technical problems, the registration of marks is not completed even after 11 am. As a result, the answer sheets marked by the teachers are being returned to the strong rooms.
Meanwhile, the 10th class exams in the state were held from March 16 to the 2nd of this month. About 6.20 lakh students wrote these exams. The evaluation of the answer sheets, which started on Monday, is aimed to be completed within ten days, i.e. by April 16. About 20 thousand people have been appointed for the evaluation duties through automation. However, despite the assignment of the duties of Chief Examiners, Assistant Examiners and Special Assistants by the Education Department, some examiners are delaying. This has led to a shortage of teachers and the evaluation process has become a stumbling block for the education department officials.
The education department has responded to the worsening shortage of teachers in the spot. Officials have warned that suspension will be imposed on teachers who do not attend spot duties. They have assured that they will talk to the telecom officials and resolve the technical problem that has arisen in the spot centers.
All this is likely to have a serious impact on the results of the 10th class. Although the results were initially expected to be released in the 4th week of April, there is a possibility that the 10th class results will be released in the first week of May.
AP Results 2026: A major update for students in Andhra Pradesh who appeared for the Intermediate and 10th-grade examinations. Officials are currently making arrangements for the release of the results. The Board of Intermediate Education is set to announce the Intermediate results first; subsequently, the Department of Education is preparing to release the 10th-grade results within a span of ten days.
As part of the Intermediate results process, the evaluation of answer scripts is scheduled to conclude on April 9th. Between April 10th and April 14th, the tasks of entering marks, conducting technical verifications, and consolidating the results will be completed. There is a possibility that the results will be released on April 15th. The Board of Intermediate Education is working diligently to ensure the results are released as planned.
The 10th-grade results are scheduled to be announced ten days after the release of the Intermediate results. Officials from the Department of Education are currently making the necessary preparations for this. The evaluation process for the 10th-grade examinations will be completed by April 15th. Processes such as data processing and tabulation will be undertaken from April 16th to April 24th. Officials are making arrangements to release the results on the 25th of this month or shortly thereafter.
It is noteworthy that the 10th-grade examinations, which commenced on March 16th of this year, concluded on April 2nd. A total of 640,916 students appeared for the examinations this year. Among them, there were 328,652 boys and 312,264 girls.
