It is known that this year the CBSE Class 10th exams were held from February 17 to March 11. A total of 43 lakh students across the country appeared for the Class 10th and Class 12th exams. Out of this, 25 lakh students appeared for the Class 10th exams alone. However, last year, both the Class 10th and 12th results were declared simultaneously on May 13. However, the second session of the Class 10th board exams is set to begin on May 15. In this context, the CBSE board announced the Class 10th results before the Class 12th results. CBSE has introduced the system of writing the board exams twice this year to allow students to improve their scores in a maximum of three subjects.

From this year, a system of adding grace marks has also been introduced for students who scored one or two marks less in class 10. However, to pass the exam, candidates must obtain at least 33 percent marks in total. Only then will grace marks be added. The 12th class exams 2026 also started from February 17th. The 12th class exams ended on April 10th, 2026. Arrangements are being made to release the results in the second week of May.
